VDM slams Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid over Billionaire rides

Controversial Nigerian social media activist, VeryDarkMan, known as VDM has called out Nigerian top music stars, Davido, Burna Boy and wizkid for purchasing cars worth billions of Naira amid economic hardships the country is facing.

This reaction is coming a few hours after Burna Boy purchased an N3.5 Billion new McLaren Sienna car. Becoming the first person in Africa to buy the new McLaren Sienna car.

Just hours after the development, Davido also reportedly bought a 2026 new Mercedes Maybach SL 680 for N1.2 Billion.

This is however, coming a few months after Wizkid reportedly purchased a N1.7 Billion car.

While reacting to the development via a viral Instagram video, VDM accused the trio of being insensitive to the plight of Nigerians especially their fans and communities.

“Yesterday I saw the news that Burna Boy bought a N3.5 billionaire car. The same yesterday Davido bought a car of over 1billion Naira. They have been doing these.”

“The question I have for Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido, don’t you people read the room? Una no really dey see country wey una come from? You guys are not thr government but I just need to say this,” he said.

VDM who is a close associate of Davido went further the question the impact the singer has in his own community.

“Let me start with Davido because na you I knpw very well, na you be my guy. What can you beat your chest to say you have done for the people of Osun State that you come from.”

“What is your contribution to the growth of Nigeria? Because you have have benefited from Nigeria and you have benefited from your fans. What can your fans say they have benefited from you? The last time I saw your video from Osun was when your uncle was contesting for governor and you needed to help him secure votes. But after then what have you built that benefited the youths?” he asked.
