Okon Lagos speaks on why EFCC arrested E-Money

Nigerian comic actor Ime Bishop Umoh, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has shared his view on why the EFCC arrested businessman, E-Money over alleged Naira abuse.
Recall, Teastrend reported that the EFCC arrested E-Money over Naira abuse.
The arrest had generated outrage online with many citing how the kids of the billionaire, Okoya were supposedly left alone, despite abusing the Naira as well.
While reacting to the arrest of E-Money, Okon Lagos, asked the fault of ‘abusing’ the dollar in a country where foreign currency has belittled the local currency. Stating that “if E-Money abuses dollar on Nigerian soil what is wrong with it?”
According to Okon Lagos the dollar abuses the Naira daily but nothing is done to put an end to it.
“Is the dollar not abusing the Naira everyday? Why not prioritize incarcerating bad and corrupt leaders who ruin the economy and in the same time are cheerleaders while the dollar constantly abuses and pummels the Naira!”
The businessman has however been released from the EFCC custody.
