NYSC Saga: Nigerians begin 30 days rant challenge over bad governance

Nigerians have begun a 30 days rant challenge to call out President Bola Tinubu and the presidency over bad governance.
The challenge began after a Corps Member, Ushie Rita Uguamaye, also known as Raye was threatened by the National Youths Service Corps, NYSC Board member for lamenting about the hardship in the country.
Raye, had in a video which went viral on the social media, called out the government over the hardship faced by Corpers and other Nigerians in the country.
She lamented the incessant increase in the price of food, cost of transportation, data, and general cost of living, stating that it has become difficult for corps members to survive with the N33,000 alawee paid by the government.
She also noted that the government is yet to implement the N77,000 allowance promised to the corps members.
However, in a twist of events, Raye stated that her life is being threatened for speaking out.
In a subsequent video shared by the corps member, she disclosed that the Eti-Osa Local Government Inspector, where she is posted to serve, called her and ordered her to take down the video.
This has sparked outrage among Nigerians and has led them to begin a 30 days rant challenge where they will call out the government over bad governance as advised by Raye.
This issue has also escalated, prompting interventions from prominent figures and agencies including Presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general elections, Peter Obi, former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, Omoyele Sowore, Dele Farotimi, Amnesty International and many others.
Below is one of the videos of the challenge.
