Mr. Macaroni vows to snub Sanwo-Olu again

Mr. Macaroni
Nigerian comedian and popular activist Adebowale Adedayo, known widely as Mr Macaroni, has vowed not to acknowledge the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the next time they meet despite any pressure.
Mr. Macaroni, who in times past has been caught on camera avoiding Sanwo-Olu at functions, has stated that he won’t recognize or greet the sitting Lagos State governor again, no matter the pressure mounted on him by fans.
Despite his bid to avoid Sanwo-Olu, Mr. Macaroni was forced during one of the exchanges to greet the governor.
The comedian, however, has now made it clear on his X handle that he would not bow down to pressure again, nor will he allow himself to be cajoled into interacting with Sanwo-Olu in the future.
According to Mr. Macaroni, this is the last time he will address the matter as it is not worth his peace of mind.
“This is the last time I will address this matter. It is not worth my peace of mind,” he wrote.
Mr. Macaroni, while reiterating his stance, stated that he won’t stop being attacked because he didn’t greet the governor; the next time he sees him, he still won’t greet him.
“Since you people won’t stop attacking me because I didn’t greet Governor Sanwoolu, next time I see him, I still won’t greet him.”
Mr. Macaroni has further made up his mind to not answer the governor’s call even though he calls him.
“And this time, even if he calls me I won’t answer. You people will cry today, tomorrow, and forever,” he wrote.
His post on X has triggered a lot of reactions from Netizens.

The popular comedian had earlier made a post on his X handle stating that no part of him wishes to fraternize with Sanwo-Olu.
“E ye do ara yin Eyin people yi. No part of me wishes to fraternize with Governor Sanwoolu. I don’t have anything against anyone who associates with him. So why won’t you people leave me alone?? I dey my own since all these days!! Na una start am oooo! Ok!,” the post reads.
