Aloba, Mohbad’s father denies interaction with ‘Nurse’
Joseph Aloba, father to late Nigerian singer, Mohbad, has denied Wummi’s claims of him interacting with the son’s attending nurse before and after his death.
Recall that during an interview with The Chude on February 19, 2025, Wummi alleged that her father-in-law, Aloba, had stopped her from arresting the nurse who injected her husband, leading to his demise.

Aloba while reacting to Wummi’s claim during a TikTok live session stated that, he had never seen the nurse or had any interaction with her.
According to him, he has only seen the nurse on the internet, “I have never set my eyes on the nurse. We haven’t met physically. If I had seen her, it would have been on the internet.”
“I never had any conversation with the nurse at all. I have never mentioned the nurse since I started narrating what happened to Mohbad that night. I didn’t see any nurse present there, and nobody introduced the nurse to me,” he said.

Aloba’s response comes hours after a Magistrate Court sitting in Yaba, Lagos cleared Naira Marley, Sam Larry and Prime Boy of allegations leading to the singer’s death, while stating its decision to prosecute the attending nurse.
