Tems, J Balvin, others to perform live at FIFA Club World Cup final

Nigerian music star and two times Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, known as Tems has been declared as on the music icons to perform live at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup final.

The event is set to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, United States on July 13.

Tems will be performing alongside American Pop star, Doja Cat and and Columbian hitmaker, J Balvin.

According to a statement by the producers of the show, Global Citizen, the performance will be broadcast live and free on DAZN.com, allowing fans across the world to be a part of the show.

Sharing her excitement about the upcoming performance, Tems shared her joy and deeper meaning behind the show.

She said, “We’re going to bring the world together for a beautiful moment to celebrate football, feel the unity that music brings, and improve the lives of millions of children through the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.”

“I can’t wait. See you at the FIFA Club World Cup final.”

The singer’s joint performance at the event is part of a broader effort to create awareness and support for the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund.

This is a joint initiative led by the FIFA President, Gianni Infantino and Global Citizen co-founder, Hugh Evans.

The aim of the fund is to raise $100 million to expand access to quality education and football for children across the world.

Tems further described the show as “a moment to celebrate football and the unifying power of music.”
