AMA 2025: Billie Eilish, Beyoncé, Eminem dominate Award night

Billie Eilish, Beyoncé and Eminem were the top winners at the just concluded 2025 American Music Awards (AMA) which happened live in Las Vegas.
The award ceremony which took place in Las Vegas was hosted and, in most ways, dominated by the singer and actress, Jennifer Lopez. The event was also graced with performances from stars including Benson Boone, Gwen Stefani and award-winner, Janet Jackson.
Billie Eilish won seven prizes she was nominated for at the award show, taking home most of the major categories in the process. She won artist and album of the year – for ‘Hit Me Hard and Soft’ – as well as song of the year, ‘Birds of a Feather.’
Eilish won other awards including, Favourite Touring Artist, Favourite Female Pop Artist and Favourite Pop Album.
Beyoncé won two awards: Favourite Female Country Artist and Favourite Country Album for ‘Cowboy Carter.’
Taking home a Favourite Male Hip-Hop Artist and Favourite Hip-Hop Album for The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grace) is Eminem who won his first AMA award in 15 years.
Other winners include; Gracie Abrams who was named New Artist of the Year, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars who won the collaboration of the Year and Favourite Music Video for their song. ‘Die With a Smile.’ Lady Gaga also won the Favourite Dance/Electronic Artist, with Mars being named Favourite Male Pop Artist
