Naira Marley, Sam Larry, Mohbad
A Magistrate Court sitting In Sabo, Yaba, Lagos, acquitted popular musician Abdulazeez Fashola, aka Naira Marley and Sam Larry of charges about the death of singer, Illerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, known as Mohbad.
This decision comes after months of deliberations and legal court proceedings following the controversies around the case.

The Directorate of Public Prosecution (DPP) Lagos, Magistrate Ejiro Kubenje, while reading the legal advice on Tuesday, ruled that Naira Marley had no case to answer and was acquitted of all charges.
Speaking further on the case, the DPP, however, stated that it will prosecute Mohbad’s attending nurse, Feyisayo Ogedengbe, and Ayobami Sadiq, Mohbad’s friend, on charges of reckless and negligent acts contrary to Section 251 (e) of the Criminal Law, Ch C.17, Vol.3, Laws of Lagos State, 2015.

The court also acquitted Owodunni Ibrahim, known as Primeboy, and Mohbad’s former manager, Opere Babatunde.
Recall that Naira Marley, Sam Larry and Primeboy were allegedly accused of being involved in the singer’s demise.
